Parents who can take an active part in our home-school partnership by volunteering become role models for other students as well as their own children. Whether you can be available for a few hours each week or only occasionally, there are many opportunities for you to share your time and talents.
Volunteer Requirements
The Diocese of Metuchen requires that all adults who volunteer in any way must:
- Attend a VIRTUS Protecting God's Children for Adults seminar; and
- Complete online background check.

Volunteer Requirements
Once you have completed the Virtus seminar, please send a copy of your certificate to the ICS office where it will be kept on file.
In addition to the above requirements, please complete, sign and return the below documents to the ICS office.
If you have an interest in particular events, feel free to complete a volunteer interest form!
Teachers/Staff/Substitutes
Teachers, Staff, Substitutes must still register with the State of NJ Department of Education for fingerprinting at www.nj.gov/education/. Click on Educators\Criminal History Review\New Applicant and continue for the fingerprinting appointment.
